Guide Bushing
Guide bushing is a key component in the hydraulic cylinder of the excavator, which plays a guiding role in the reciprocating movement of the piston rod to ensure the coaxiality between the piston rod and the cylinder barrel, so as to ensure the normal work of the excavator.

Guiding role:
the main function of the guide bushing is to guide the piston rod in the cylinder barrel to do linear reciprocating motion, to maintain the coaxiality between the piston rod and the cylinder barrel, reduce friction and wear.

the guide bushing also provides support for the piston rod to keep it stable in the movement process.
Seal auxiliary:
in some designs, the guide bushing also auxiliary seals to improve the sealing performance of the hydraulic cylinder.

Commonly used materials:
guide sleeve materials are usually selected wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, high-strength materials, such as HT1532 to HT2140 grey cast iron, wear-resistant cast iron, No. 45 steel, aluminium alloy, nylon, PTFE and so on.

Manufacturing process:
The manufacturing process of the guide bush may include casting, forging, machining and many other aspects.
For example, PTFE guide bush is pressed into blank parts from PTFE resin, sintered and cooled, and then finished by mechanical cutting methods according to the geometric dimensions and tolerance ranges required by customer drawings.

Ordinary guide sleeve:
installed between the seal and the oil chamber of the hydraulic cylinder, it is easy to use the pressure oil in the oil chamber to lubricate the guide sleeve.
Easy to dismantle the guide sleeve:
this guide set in the hydraulic cylinder on the outside, with screws fastened to the cylinder head, easy to dismantle, suitable for poor working conditions, the need for frequent replacement of the guide sleeve seals and does not allow the dismantling of the hydraulic cylinder occasions.
Spherical guiding sleeve:
the spherical surface is in contact with the cylinder head, the position can be adjusted automatically, so that the axis of the guiding sleeve is always the same as the direction of movement, the movement is smooth and fast and the wear is uniform.
Hydrostatic guiding sleeve:
used in hydraulic cylinders with high speed of movement or high frequency of round trip and high vibration, there is a pressure oil film between the piston rod and the guiding sleeve, and there is no direct contact between the metals.

Matching accuracy:

Wear resistance:
